Hello 914 World-

I am excited to announce the upcoming Northeast Gathering-6, taking place July 11-13 in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. This annual event brings together Porsche 914 enthusiasts from across the region to celebrate these iconic cars, foster community, and enjoy a weekend of camaraderie and scenic drives.

We will be at the iconic Skytop Lodge this year and will have some great roads, fantastic food, some cool vendor raffles, tech sessions, and a few other things we are planning for fun. We are open to all Porsches if your 914 can't make it or grab a seat with someone else for the drive.

Registration is $100 as most of the cost is baked into the rooms (see below). For a day tripper please register and then call the hotel for the meal payment ($81.27) for Saturday. They just opened up this option so we have flexibility for locals not staying over night.

After registration you can add our Group WhatsApp chat and we can use that to stay organized leading up to and during the event.

Oh Travis, I would love to come and hang out with the you guys and the 914 Mob!!! Unfortunately, Nancy and I are headed to Honduras at that same time! I am really disappointed to miss the Gathering!!!!

As often happens, NEG and Boy Scout summer camp are at the same time. So looks like I'll have to skip this year. :-(

I hope there will be an update on planned activities and how to register at some point that's not on Facebook or Instagram or other social media sights. I've given them all up, except this, of course. And I really look forward to meeting you all from the NE who can attend.

No worries - The registration details are in the first post now. The only thing to consider is adding the WhatsApp app for communications. All event organization, driving route links, etc are only going through the chat as it is the easiest way to stay organized. Hope to see you there!!

Managers are welcome to attend as well, we chose a place that is great for both this year!

Is there a Promo Code to use when registering at the Skytop Lodge?

The room price has gone from an expensive $309 a night to an outrageous $368 + whatever taxes and resort fees they add on...

This, just for a place to sleep.

This does make a good case for the Knights Inn.

It would be nice to see a price list from the organizers.

Still trying to register at hotel. Many calls to Group Sales but no one answers. A few messages but no one calls back.

I'm in for the Gathering. Spokeworks will donate 2 sets of brake LEDs for the raffle.

Met Howard at Mark Epstein's shop and he asked me to do a tech session. I'd be more than happy to do one installing LEDs for someone.

I'm assuming the registration is per person, correct? I registered myself and Management (aka, the wife) separately, since I didn't see any way to add a guest in the registration form.

How late can I put off registering? There is a chance I will be able to make a day trip of it but I won't know for a little while yet.

I’ll work on that this week. Probably need the info 2 weeks before so I can order t shirts. Hotel booking deadline is this week to get the rate. After this week I have to give up the room block for any we don’t use. You can still book but I can’t guarantee a spot.

That’s per person for both meals Saturday. Price is included if you booked with hotel.
