I noticed awhile back that even when cold, the thermostat cable was slack - so I assumed the thermostat had failed. However when I got it up on the lift, I realized it had not failed, it was just not there - a PO had removed it, the bracket etc. They just left the cable hanging.
Has anyone ever ordered a thermostat from these guys? https://www.awesomepowdercoat.com/porsche-thermostats At $144, they are considerably cheaper than the ones I can find here - which are around $300... https://www.cagero.com/en/prod/Aircooled/Po...;f=15&n=447 |
