WTB: 1ft or 2 ft of the 2.5 x 4 mm breather hose from the gas cap to the gas tank expansion chamber. Looks like 4mm ID and 2.5mm wall thickness for total 9mm O.D. Black braided cloth over rubber.
PET Part # 25 on diagram 201-05. PN N 020 361 2 (though this # seems to be a different hose on the normal parts sites). Lots of 10mm hoses available, but won't fit through the grommet on the lip next to the gas cap.

I recall someone posting about this hose earlier this year and George said they could get it but it's expense (sold through Porsche).

Yeah, kind of special unique from others. Similar one sold only in full rolls. I’ve recovered an older one, dripped in rubber conditioner and dyed fabric back to black. 10 mm thick so really tough to fit through the grommet; still trying to work it in.

Wow. That's crafty!

Did you see this option on Bellmetric? It's 4.5 MM ID and 9.5 MM OD.

Do you think that would squeeze through the grommet?

FYI - I pulled the trigger on the Racing Planet hose. It was $18.26 shipped for a meter. I received a confirmation email for my order with the message below. I'll keep you posted. A meter of hose should be enough for 2 cars.

Thanks ever so much! The piece is a tad under 12” so a meter should be good for 3 cars! I think this is the only place where this particular hose is used.
