Where is the best place to have the connection tab male end on the horn pad.
I know that I need to install a female spade connector.

Yes i know that is the connection point but i can move that piece anywhere. When you connect and turn it pulls out.

It shouldn't... The lug was also broken off on mine so I soldered on a new one in the same place. I also grafted on a new wire from the contact ring as the original one was old and very stiff. You want something nice and flexible. And don't make the mistake of routing the wire through the hole in the flange which looks like it might be there for that purpose - but it isn't.
