I am in desperate need of a known working drivers side rear brake caliper to get my teener back on the road. I could also use a good used rear rotor as well as it was chewed up pretty bad / metal on metal.

I sold my Navigator DD last Friday (at a steep discount) in order to buy another car, which the seller then decided he didn't want to sell (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fyou1.gif)

My teener (now my only means of getting around besides my mtb) is on jack stands having the tires balanced and to replace the rear brake pads. I ever so gently went to back off the driver side vent clearance adjuster only to have it start flowing brake fluid out of the adjuster hole...figures, failed outer adjuster o-ring. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

The passenger side outer adjuster luckily worked just fine, but I haven't had a chance to try the inner adjuster on it yet, and might possibly need to replace it as well.

If anybody can help me out with any of these items, especially if you're local to Nashville or Chattanooga (I'm half way between both), please LMK ASAP.

I'm also willing to trade my NOS 047 MPS, die cast cars, and some other things I'll be listing for the caliper(s) and rotor, Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you are short on time and have a desireable rare NOS as collateral. Fastest way may be to just buy the caliper(s) you need from PMB to get you back on the road and sell the 047 - you may know this is for a BMW 3.0 worth $$ to the right person, but will take time and the right forum to move it on. Or you could have it recalibrated or pinch the diaphragm from it...

...Also very short on funds. When my wife passed away late last year she left me with a crushing amount of credit debt and I'm struggling financially. $800+ for new calipers isn't in my budget, likely even with selling the MPS.

I'm MOL forced into trying to find a good used inexpensive drivers side rear caliper or try to rebuild the one(s) I have. Perry Kiehl is relatively close to me and has rebuild kits but no adjuster o-rings.

Q: Does anybody have the adjuster o-rings and/or know know the ID / OD and material of the adjuster o-rings so maybe I can source them?

I have empathy for your situation. Try posting the MPS here, I can offer no guess on its value. Or ebay it with a reasonable reserve.

Thanks, I'll try that!

I gave up on eBay and PP years ago. I was a Power Seller and got burned by scammer buyers on 3 big ticket items in a row and eBay wouldn't back me up and PP takes forever to get paid.
