Alrighty then... so I've stumbled upon another potential car. It's a very clean and totally rust-free car. Custom race engine built from a type IV. Around 2.4.
5 lug Fuchs on stock (I think) suspension/rotors, dual carbs, roll cage, lightweight panels, narrow body, and very clean. It's period-correct. No weird hack-jobs here. The car looks "right"

Enthusiast owned. Plus tons of original parts You can dm me if you want a photo of the car. (I know, I know)

Based on what you've read, what kind of value would you put on this mystery car?

Thanks in advance!

What are you planning on doing with that, street?

Is it a real race car? Does it have a valid log book with a sanctioned body? Does is currently pass safety/tech inspection with that body?

Interior?

Need way more detail here if you’re not going to post pics. But this sounds like it could be a $10-25k car…

I have a wanted ad in the classifieds. You'll be able to see a photo of the car there.

The yellow car? 15-ish is my guess. maybe up to 20 if you are really in love with it.
I'm just going by one pic with very little info and my opinion. I'm not pretending that I know value better than anyone else. Looks like it could be fun. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Real race cars are built for specific rules at a specific place

If you ever intend to actually race…. You had best read the rules first

Around here, that would be a no brainer. Rust repair cost more.

I once cut a cage out of a car that nobody wanted. With the right sawmill blade (diablo brand) and a grinder, it came out easy. I don't believe in roll cages on street cars.
