Need to make room for a cable shifter.

Should do some rust proofing while I'm in there too and would be nice to have better access.

Do I need to replace sheet metal, or maybe build it up some more?

The central tunnel is structural, a lot of rusted longs on 914’s are held up with the central tunnel.
