1971 Porsche 914 Targa. The car features a stock fuel-injected 1.7L Type 4 engine coupled to a factory 5-speed manual transmission. This is an early car with the vent in the middle of the dashboard - those are getting rare. It's also pleasantly stock down to the radio and OEM Pedrini 15" alloys with newish tires.
One recent repaint in original Bahia Red (L30E). Most importantly - no rust. Both the rear trunk and hell hole are solid (see pics). Recent work includes new hoses, fluids, engine reseal, a complete shift lever rebush along with general clean up and electric system overhaul. Starts nicely, runs well, has excellent power and stops like it should. Transmission shifts great with a good clutch take up. Overall, the car in excellent condition. Interior is clean and fully functional while the top does the job well. Chrome is good too. Overall, not a concours car but a clean, fun and nostalgic weekend canyon carver for way less than its larger brother of the same vintage. Yes, you can buy one for less but you'll spend tons of time fixing things up and by the time you're done the season is over. This one is properly sorted and ready to go today, just put the top down and enjoy! Looking for $21K obro. Car is located in San Francisco, California. Inspections are welcome. Clean title in hand so ready to go! As a bonus no SMOG is needed for California buyers. FB link with more pics: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2099699403924828 |
