Could anyone who has a 914 console please get me a measurement off the console? I have a 74 914 with console and the piece that holds it together towards the back of the car was lost by the upholstery shop.
So, to be specific there is a small rectangular piece with two little metal brackets on it that hold the console together I am guessing about 6"across and 2 or so inches tall and about 3/8"thick but I do not want to guess, also, the actual dimension might be in MM not inches Thanks Edit: Toward the Back of the car there is a cross piece with two little metal brackets that hold it together adding picture Attached thumbnail(s) |

I think you mean the wooden piece toward the back of the console(front of the car), but you mentioned 6 inches which is almost the width of the metal bracket. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
