My car came with turn signal lenses that look brand-new. No yellowing on the clear part and no darkening with age on the yellow part. Have all the correct markings molded into them, including the Hella logo.
They're far too nice to be the original 50-year-old ones. Just wondering if they are actually genuine Hella parts or just excellent copies. When did Hella stop making replacements for these things? Do people making copies these days have the right to put the Hella logo on them? Just curious - nothing else. |

I can't speak to the Euro version, but I recently bought a new North America lens that was advertised as "these cannot be distinguished from the originals!". It was a quality lens, but it didn't have Hella or the part number markings. |

@chmillman
My 6 came to me (the six on the right, plate reading 30th six) with the same euro lenses in perfect shape put on in the 70s. Perfect shape. No fade, no scratches. It was in a Garage in So Cal from 1986 to 2007 so it was not getting sun fade damage. I am sure that your set are real so why sweat it, just enjoy Best Bob B ![]() |
