My understanding is the stock front sway bar is 15 and 16mm for -4 and -6, respectively.
Could one of the smart guys here put a value on the delta for a street driving application.
Thanks

Very little delta - in my opinion. It’s what Porsche felt would be optimal for a stock setup - in the 70’s. Probably on much different tires than you are driving now.

FWIW: My 75 did not have ANY sway bars the I got it...but now has a 19 mm front(like OEM configuration ) and the OE 16 rear bar. Amazing on the street
REMEMBER the springs has as much to do with sway control/handling as the bars
Stock front and 120lb rears
Ride quality is still very good

with modern tires and handling as a goal
the larger the sway bar the better the car will handle.
I run 21mm in street car and bigger in race car.

but if your going for full authenticity...
I've heard the -6 bar is really hard to find as it was not a common option and may have been mostly installed on race cars in the day.

I installed a stock front bar to my original 1.7L 73 several years ago, and she "dances on the Dragon!"Body roll is minimal yet very comfortable in tight handling situations in street use, as well as on "spirited" driving events, and 100 LB springs in back..
