Does anyone know the case through bolt o-ring size? I split my case and want to use viton. I've searched but had no luck. Thanks

No orings are used on Type 4 engine case through bolts.

Thanks for the reply. These go in between the case halves. The right half inside holes are beveled. I did finally find that they are 8mm ID X 12mm OD X 2mm.

There is a vibration damper that belongs on the through bolts between case halves.

Third voice saying there are no o-rings there. Its a hard plastic ribbed damper about an inch long. not an o-ring.
