Matched pair from California car. He hadn’t hooked up gas tank but said when he squirted fuel it turned over. No other info on either but carbs look newer and all original FI goes with it. Tranny was original to the car. Pick up in tarpon Springs Florida. Asking $650 for both cash at pickup

I’ve known the seller for decades and he is a stand up guy. No need to be concerned about his 0 posts. He’s also a long time PCA member and well known in our local Suncoast Region. And he’s a 914 guy!!!!

He said it did a turned over but didn’t have enough fuel to run. I think it would clearly need checked tuned spark plugs etc. the car was bought buy the prior owner to do a 6 conversion since it was an excellent no hit and very limited rusty car but he realized he just couldn’t get around to doing it. Engine and transmission were cleaned after removal and doesn’t appear to be abused. Will get numbers tomorrow

Motor number WOO65324
Transmission number 914/1 1HA0015519

I think the case is one of the earlier one that Jake says is stronger than the later ones. I think the main bearing internal casting is stronger . Also would the transmission be a tail shifter ?
